"This painting is a view from near my home, looking west towards the Oregon coast. I painted this just weeks before lots of hard hit our little community--grieving some devastating losses of family and friends due to Covid, and complications of an unprecedented ice storm that changed our landscape forever.
It's been a time of many helping hands, tender mercies, lifting hearts and literally lifting limbs. The solace of endless horizons--the reminder to keep going, there are better days ahead, sunny skies returning, and beauty still to be found."
